About First Principles

Most physical therapy follows a template—treat the symptoms, apply a standard protocol, and hope it works.

That never sat right with me.

First Principles was built on the idea that your care should be based on what’s actually driving your pain, your movement, and your limitations—not assumptions or one-size-fits-all programs.

That means taking the time to understand how you move, what you’re dealing with, and what you’re trying to get back to.

From there, we build a plan around you—so it makes sense, keeps you engaged, and leads to real, lasting results.

Every session is one-on-one. Every decision is intentional. And no two plans look the same.

About the Clinician

First Principles is led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy focused on helping active individuals move better, recover from injury, and return to what matters most to them.

The approach is rooted in breaking problems down to their fundamentals and building solutions that are specific to the individual—not the diagnosis alone.

Care is delivered one-on-one, with an emphasis on clarity, measurable progress, and long-term outcomes—not temporary fixes.

Why I Do This

I’ve worked in traditional physical therapy settings and saw firsthand how often care becomes rushed, generalized, and disconnected from what people actually need.

I built First Principles to change that.

This is a place for people who want to understand what’s going on, take ownership of their recovery, and work with someone who’s fully invested in helping them move forward.
